✅ Today our Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out Operation Aurora in Chelmarsh and Eardington.
This proactive operation focused on road safety and community reassurance. Officers monitored vehicle speeds and engaged with residents to help keep these rural routes safe. 📊 What did we find? In Chelmarsh (40mph limit), the average speed recorded was 30.15mph.In Eardington (30mph limit), the average speed recorded was 24.7mph.
Importantly, no vehicles were travelling above the speed limit during our checks – a great result for road safety.💬 We want you to feel confident that your concerns are being addressed.
